Privacy Policy

RNV-TECH LLC — MySecretary: Voice to action

1. Overview

MySecretary: Voice to action is a voice-first productivity app developed by RNV-TECH LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains what data we collect, where it lives, and how it is used. We built this app with a privacy-first approach — your notes, voice recordings, and photos never touch our servers.

2. Data We Collect

2a. Account Information (stored on our servers)

When you create an account, we collect and store:

Your email address
Your name (optional)
A hashed (encrypted) password — we never store your password in plain text
Authentication tokens used to keep you signed in

2b. Usage Logs (stored on our servers)

Each time you use an AI feature, we log:

Which AI mode was used (e.g., Summarize, Clean Up, To-Do)
The number of tokens processed (a measure of text length — not the text itself)
The AI model used and a timestamp

We do not log or store the content of your notes, voice recordings, or photos on our servers.

2c. Note Content, Voice Recordings & Photos (stored on your device and iCloud only)

All notes, audio recordings, and photos you create in the app are stored locally on your device and in your personal iCloud account (if you are signed into iCloud) — synced between your own devices only, not accessible to us. We cannot access your notes, recordings, or photos.

2d. App Preferences (stored on your device only)

Settings such as your chosen AI model, calendar provider, and reminder preferences are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to us.

3. Third-Party Services

3a. Anthropic (Claude AI)

When you use an AI feature (Summarize, Clean Up, To-Do, Email Draft, Outline, or image scanning), your note text and any attached photos are sent to Anthropic's API for processing. This is how the AI works. RNV-TECH does not store this content, but it is transmitted to and processed by Anthropic. Please review Anthropic's Privacy Policy at anthropic.com/privacy.

3b. Supabase

We use Supabase to manage user accounts and authentication. Your email, hashed password, and session tokens are stored in Supabase's infrastructure. See Supabase's Privacy Policy at supabase.com/privacy.

3c. Google / Microsoft (Optional)

If you connect Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar, you will be asked to authorize access through OAuth. We store only your OAuth access token on your device (in the iOS Keychain) to perform calendar actions you request. We do not store your Google or Microsoft credentials.

4. How We Use Your Data

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

5. Data Retention

Account data is retained until you delete your account
Usage logs are retained for up to 12 months
Notes, recordings, and photos are retained on your device and iCloud until you delete them — we have no copy

6. Your Rights & Account Deletion

You may request at any time:

Access to the data we hold about you
Correction of your account information
Deletion of your account and all associated data

To delete your account: Open MySecretary: Voice to action → Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account, email, and usage logs from our servers. Notes on your device and iCloud are not affected and must be deleted manually.

7. Children's Privacy

MySecretary: Voice to action is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us at support@rnv-tech.com and we will delete it promptly.

8. Security

Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text
Authentication tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain (encrypted, device-only)
All communication between the app and our servers uses HTTPS/TLS
Your note content is processed in transit and not written to any database on our infrastructure

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will notify users of material changes via the app or email. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.

Terms of Service

RNV-TECH LLC — MySecretary: Voice to action

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using MySecretary: Voice to action (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App. These terms are an agreement between you and RNV-TECH LLC ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

MySecretary: Voice to action is a voice-first AI productivity app that converts voice notes into summaries, email drafts, task lists, outlines, meeting notes, action items, and daily briefings. AI features are powered by third-party AI providers as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Your Account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App
Abuse, overload, or attempt to disrupt our servers or AI processing infrastructure
Use automated systems to access the App in a manner that sends more requests than a human could reasonably produce
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the App or its AI output as a competing service

5. AI-Generated Content

The App uses artificial intelligence to generate content from your voice notes. You acknowledge that:

AI output may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions — review all output before relying on it
You are responsible for the final content of anything you send, publish, or act upon
AI output is generated from your input and is yours to use; we claim no ownership over it
The App is a productivity tool and does not provide legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice

6. Your Content

You retain all rights to the notes, recordings, photos, and other content you create in the App. As described in our Privacy Policy, your content is stored on your device and personal iCloud account — we do not store it on our servers. You grant us only the limited, transient right to transmit your content to our AI provider for the sole purpose of generating the output you request.

7. Subscriptions & Payment

Certain features may require a paid subscription, billed through the Apple App Store
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store account settings
Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store policies

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, branding, code, and content (excluding your content), is owned by RNV-TECH LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal or internal business purposes.

9. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RNV-TECH LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time (Settings → Account → Delete Account). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or abuse the service. Sections 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, and 12 survive termination.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which RNV-TECH LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the App evolves. We will notify users of material changes via the app or email. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
